Delivery and shipping terms and conditions
1. Withdrawal in our workshop
Chahut Bahut is located in Clichy-la-Garenne (Hauts de Seine department). In order to avoid shipping costs, the buyer can pick up the product directly in our workshop. For this, the buyer must choose "withdrawal at the workshop" in the delivery section. Chahut Bahut will then contact the buyer to set up an appointment. The products ordered must be withdrawn within 8 days from the ordrer date.
2. Shipping costs
The product prices shown on the web site do not include the costs of packing and shipping. These additional costs are indicated at the end of the product description and also when in the cart summary when the product is added to the shopping cart. The shipping costs and delivery time displayed are those for metropolitan France and the following countries up to 30 kg: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lituania, Luxembourg, Malta, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland. For these countrie over 30 kg or for any other shipping destination, the buyer is kindly requested to contact Chahut Bahut.
Chahut Bahut uses different shipping modes according to the nature of the products (dimensions, weight) and shipping destination (Paris and suburb, province, foreign country).
Shipping costs always include insurance against loss or damage to the product transported.
3. Delivery time
Products are packed and shipped within 2 to 10 days in average, following the acceptance of the payment. For shipments in France, delivery times vary between 1 and 3 days. For shipments abroad, delivery times vary between 2 days and 2 weeks depending on the destination. Chahut Bahut cannot be hold responsible for any delay of the delivery of the product ordered.
If the buyer is not present at delivery, or if the buyer do not pick up the product within the time frame stipulated by the transporter or by La Poste, the product shall be returned to Chahut Bahut. Chahut Bahut shall then reimburse the buyer at the exception of the shipping cost, back and forth.
4. Delivery location
Products are delivered at the place indicated by the buyer during the order process.
Deliveries are made in the lobby of your building or on the ground floor of your home, routing upstairs must be arranged by you. When we carry ourselves delivery (in Paris and the Paris are), we can possibly help you deliver the furniture on your floor.
The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during the order process. The buyer shall also make sure that the delivery location is accessible in respect to the product ordered.
In case of mistake concerning the information provided by the buyer or if the delivery locatin is not accessible, potential return shipping costs shall be charged to the buyer.
5. Reception of the order
It is recommended that the buyer unpacks the product in the presence of the transporter and before signing the receipt.
In case of any anomaly observed (damaged package or product, delivery time and date not conforming), the anomaly must be precisely mentioned on the receipt, and the buyer can refuse the product, otherwise the transporter could not be held liable. It is important that this anomaly shall also be mentionned to Chahut Bahut.
If the products have not been unpacked and if the buyer identifies a missing product, a default of a non conformity with reference to the order, the buyer shall submit a claim by recommended letter to Chahut Bahut within 2 days after delivery.
